Camilo Idrobo Iturralde had his start in his home country of Ecuador 🇪🇨, where, in his youth, he decided to grab the nearest camera and take on the world. He taught himself the basics of film and video, and later sought on professional mentorship on photography.
Recognized for his talents, Camilo has been awarded in different occasions for his remarkable work ranging from best selling artist in exhibitions to being named the most outstanding arts student in his school.
He's worked in video production for over 10 years, creating his own projects in between commercial shoots for local companies and overseeing the media identity of an animal rescue center.
He now studies and works in Cincinnati, expanding his career both professionally and artistically.
He is an advocate for social justice, nature, and preservation of the analog film medium. He sculpts when he has a chance. He's likely storyboarding his next project as of now. There's a plastic Oscar decorating his vast bookshelf. He hopes a gold-plated one will join it soon. His favorite movie is John Frankenheimer's Seconds. Or is it actually Jackie Brown?
